Background

The concept of The Annual Aquarius Charity Affair started in 2008 by entrepreneur and philanthropist, Raj Jhaveri, and other multiple Aquarius or January Birthdays. The event would celebrate their birthdays while fundraising and raising awareness for multiple charities.

Friday, January 29th, 2016 will be the 9th and last year of this wonderful tradition under the current organization.

The event has been having quite the turnout the past years, with each year raising more and more awareness and donations.

2014: Lexicon – New York, NY – 600 Attendance –
$4000 Donated to Action Against Hunger and Give2Heal for Typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines.

2013: Noir – New York, NY – 600 Attendance –
$4000 Donated to Childhood Leukemia Foundation, Be Proud Foundation, All India Democratic Women’s Association for Rape Victims

2012: Hudson Terrace – New York, NY – 750 Attendance –
$6000 Donated to Childhood Leukemia Foundation, Clean Water Projects in Africa, South Asian Marrow Association of Recruiters

2011: Belmont Lounge – New York, NY – 300 Attendance –
